Homeopathy

What is Homeopathy?
HomeopathyHomeopathy, is a holistic medical philosophy and practice founded in the late 1700s in Germany and widely practiced throughout the world. It is a complete and safe system of medicine that is entirely natural and can be applied to any disease or illness. Based on the “Law of Similars” or “like cures like”, it uses remedies made from highly diluted substances that stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself. Homeopathy treats the whole person and seeks to address the cause not just the symptoms.

Remedies are chosen to match specific and individual symptoms. Remedies are made from plant, animal and mineral sources and can be used instead of, or alongside conventional medicine. They are safe, effective, non toxic and non addictive and can be used by all age groups including babies and pregnant women.

A detailed case history of will be taken which may include information about your physical, emotional and mental health. A physical examination may also be carried out if appropriate.

The length of the treatment depends on individual circumstances. Complex or chronic conditions that have caused problems for a long time will require several appointments. Acute conditions respond more quickly.
