Iridology Training Courses 2010
Diploma in Iridology
Dates to be confirmed
(course continues over several weekends throughout the year).
Iridology, or Iris Assessment is invaluable in helping therapists to understand the needs of their patients.
Each part of the iris relates to a particular area or system of the body and although iris analysis is not used to diagnose specific diseases the genetic marking that have been passed on from parents to children make it easy for the Iridologist to assess the constitution of the individual and to identify areas that are more likely to have a negative effect upon their health status. Many illnesses in the body occur because of an imbalance in an organ or body system and Iridology can help to identify where there is a weakness.
This GNII accredited Iridology Diploma Course follows the Curriculum and Code of Ethics as set out by the Guild. The course is designed for people who are already qualified therapists with a suitable qualification in Anatomy and Physiology (which may have been completed as part of training in a therapy).
This accredited course requires 70 hours or more of classroom attendance which is carried out over several weekends, during the course of the year. This particular course teaches Iris Examination using various optical lenses and equipment, and there is plenty of hands on experience in order for students to gain confidence and expertise.
The subjects covered will be demonstrated with slides, photographs, and printed material, and there will be access to books written by leading authorities on Iridology.
At the end of the course students sit an examination and are required to complete case studies in order to receive their diploma. Qualified students are then invited to join the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists International.
