Diane has worked within the Health Service for over 20 years and still holds a part time position in a busy medical practice. Over this time many changes have taken place and attitudes towards complementary medicines have increasingly become more acceptable. In fact it is Modern medicine that is the challenger. Most of the so called “new age” treatments have been around for thousands of years.
While believing in the N.H.S as an excellent and valid service, Diane could see the great need for support on a holistic level to the health of a client. Giving up full time employment and returning to college to study in a variety of complementary treatments was the obvious path to choose.
Diane now specialises in Clinical Aromatherapy tailoring a course of treatments specifically designed for the client, in an effort to promote well-being. From a selection of over 100 pure essential oils, a blend will be put together to treat mind, body and spirit. This is usually administered through a full body massage ensuring maximum absorption. The skin is the largest organ of the body and is semi- permeable allowing the tiny molecules of essential oils to penetrate through. Transported by the blood stream, the health giving properties are then utilised by the body to bring about a beneficial reaction i.e. homeostasis.
Diane is also a fully trained in Reflexology and has attended workshops in advanced techniques to enhance her skills in this field. She holds a level two certificate with the U.K Reiki Federation and continues to practice with the Mikao Usui teachings and philosophy
to become a master.
Diane has certificates in working with Asthma, Arthritis and cancer care. She continues to expand her knowledge and is currently exploring the use of colour therapy as an added benefit that does stand alone as a treatment but can also be added to others to enhance the vibrational energy.

Diane is a member of the Professional Association of Clinical Therapists and the International Council of Holistic Therapists. She holds VTCT Certificates at level 3 and is fully insured with the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
